Shimano Disc Brake Caliper BR-RS305

The SHIMANO RS305 mechanical disc brake is easy to control as well as set up and maintain. It mounts via SHIMANO's Flat Mount interface.

Specification:

Brake Type: Mechanical (cable-actuated) disc brake.

Mount Type: Flat mount system, which offers a sleek, low-profile appearance.

Piston: It is a single-piston design, where the outer piston moves the disc against a stationary inner pad.

Heat Management: Features Ice Technologies compatibility (when used with finned pads and recommended rotors) to help manage heat buildup during prolonged braking.

Pads: Comes standard with L02A or K05S-RX resin pads, but is also compatible with other resin or metal Ice Tech pads.

Rotor Compatibility: Can be used with 140mm or 160mm rotors, using the same bracket (front version includes an adapter). Recommended rotors include the Shimano SM-RT54, SM-RT56, and SM-RT70.

Lever Compatibility: Works with Shimano Super SLR road bike levers, including those for drop-bar and flat-bar use.
