Borrowing heavily from race-winning team Volare and sharing the very same race-orientated geometry, the Volare 10 utilises our new ‘Mjölnir’ seamless, double-butted chromoly tubeset and Shimano Tiagra 10sp drivetrain to deliver a bike oozing bang-for-your-buck but without the usual sacrifice to performance.

The frame is the star of the show here, thanks to the OOS downtube and OS toptube we’re able to utilise thinner walled tubing, 0.8/0.5/0.8 to be precise (usually the reserve of frames built from more premium steels), without compromising frame strength or integrity. This enables us utilise the added stiffness the larger diameter offer whilst helping to offset the weight gain usually associated with the move to bigger tubes. The result is a superbly riding frame that belies the pricetag; astonishingly responsive with a good balance of stiffness and comfort with that ever-present ‘connected’ feel of steel.
